new music
sometime earlier today i felt the need to buy some new music, music that's been on my radar for a while, but i've just never gotten around to buying. This includes Clark's "Fantasm Planes" EP, Squarepusher's "Ufabulum", and Michael Gordon's "Timber".
these, along with a few others, might get bought next week and added to my playlist. I never get sick of what i listen to, but new stuff would be good as i start to put energy into new projects. In particular, I need to listen to "Timber" in its entirety with no interruption and get a good sense of the overall piece - putting it on in the background when i'm working from what's available on the Bang on a Can site isn't good enough.
