sale before the sale
i got an email the other morning from a random person from the UK. He was inquiring about Timpani Forces because he wanted to buy a copy and couldn't find it for sale anywhere. i fb stalked the guy. young bloke who is or was a musician in the Royal Marines.
i contacted Jim Casella about it and he told me basically that he could work something out, some sort of 'advance sale' thingy that he could give the guy before it hit the shelves, and then once it hits the shelves they'd mail him a physical copy.
so yeah. my first published piece hasn't even been published yet and it already got its first sale. international, no less.
it's an odd feeling. kind of neat.
