i missed a day because i wasn't on the internet much yesterday. and that's AOK in my book.

so most of the people that are incredibly meaningful in my life are female and i'm not getting in the business of trying to figure out how to choose five out of the many of them for this meme, so all of my answers below are male.
1. Devon Bergman. former student and one of my closest friends. he's an interesting self-aware personal self-contradiction for whom i have a lot of respect despite some of our differences, and i know we both treasure our friendship a great deal.
2. Tyler Harding. it started out as a DDR thing and then turned into just a solid friendship thing. we complement each other in a lot of ways and despite the fact that we don't actually keep in touch all that often i know that our friendship will always have meaning.
3. felix. i don't think anyone would ever figure that my brother and i are actually close if they got a glimpse of our interaction, but we are.
4. mark lighthiser. my partner in crime, and my best male friend. we've gone through a hell of a lot together and have a pretty incredible friendship and working relationship.
5. jason powell. if it wasn't for him, i wouldn't be the teacher that i am today.
