Well, it been a long time - sorry I shouldn't have left you without some A-mazing words of wisdom. So let's see a lot has happened since my last entry. On December 4, I started dating the girl, I had that crush on. Everything was going well, they were some of the best months of my life, but all good things must to an end, and that end was May 1st. Everything is good between her and I we are still the best of friends. A lot of good things came out of that relationship including a lot of great poems.
On December 4th, I also ran to fill an Executive Board position on the Student Senate, Parliamentarian. For those who do not know what that is, I am third in the line of succession, the Speaker, then Vice Speaker and then me. I ensure that Robert's Rules are being followed, I interpret them along with our constitution and by-laws. By being the Parliamentarian, I am also the Chairman of the Student Senate Judicial Committee. I was elected and by doing so I resign as being a Senator. But that was ok, because I still represented them as their Class President.
I got a 3.93 gpa for my first semester, I got an A- in Comp, but I am ok with that. This past semester grades are TBA. I just hope I did well again. Fingers crossed! I started tutoring. I love it! I secretly have always wanted to be a teacher, and this is a great way for me to get that urge out of my system. I was selected to be a Community Service Orientation Leader. I did CSO this past summer, the week before school officially started. It was a great time, I am friends with all of them, it was a great experience.
My birthday was A-mazing as usually. I love the month of April. Elections were held during the end of April. The Social Chair, who had this job for about 3 weeks decide that he wanted to be President of the Class of 2009. I had a already submitted my petition for re-election, but I decided that I wanted to run to be the Student Body President. I was going to withdraw my petition for the President of my Class, but once I found out that Seth was going to run, I thought I should just stick with my Class Presidency. Then my current officers did not want to work with Seth. Plus, I did not want him to be my President, so I ran. So yeah, celebrating my victory was a fun time. That was an A-mazing Thursday night!!! A few weeks, later I ran for re-election for Parliamentarian, I won. I was nominated for an officer seat in PSU Volunteers, and let's make a long story short, by saying I am the new VP. So I am going to be quite busy next year. But that is good I need to be busy to do well, plus I abhor being bored.
Those are the highlights, minus all the great party stories...
