doctor app

Well, I'm starting a 10 different bottles of "medication" to start my battle against Lyme Disease. After a Lyme diagnosis, I went to a doctor to have a whole slew of blood/hair tests taken. Yesterday I found out the results.

A quick recap of what I have.

High bacteria in my system. **TREATMENT** Doxycycline 2 times a day. The normal reading is >=1.10. My reading was 3.08H.

High yeast in my system. This we already knew, and was an effect from the Doxycycline. For Candida AB IGG I had 1.90H, and for Candida AB IGA I had 2.17H. Both should be lower now, as this test was taken on 1/23/2006 and I've been on Nystatin since then.

The pregnenolone in my body was tested and was discovered to be VERY LOW. The reference range is based on a ng/dL scale, and is between 10-230. My levels were <10 L. Which means that my Adrenal gland is not working very effeciently at the moment. To combat that I'm an some natural medications. I also have to start using sea salt instead of table salt. Who knew!

Inflammation- Apparently I have high Cardio CRP, with a reading of 3.8H. I'm on Coenzyme Q10 to help with infections and inflammation.

My vitamin B-12 is low; 298 on a scale of 200-1100 PG/ML. So every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday I am going to have to inject myself with vitamin B-12 shots. I'm not looking forward to giving myself shots, but I'll have to make do and just do it.

My vitamin D is low; 27 out of a 20-100 scale. Apparently 50-70 is desirable.

My hair tests revealed that I have a higher than normal arsenic concentraion in my hair. Weird! He said it can be contributed to the well water I drank as a kid. (Will my parents still be affected by that since they still live there?)

I have low lithiul, germanium, and rubidium in my system. I'm only reacting to the germanium, and I'm supplementing with a capsule.

I have a checkup on Monday 4/3/2006, so we'll see what happens there. Maybe my levels will top off by then.

Okay, that's it for now. I may write more later........
