Failing with the loss of her grip
My heart in my throat, words moving back as I choke
with every word that crosses her lips
The beating of my heart increases ten fold
This past chapter on it's final breath, last word
No one's perfect is what I last heard, that story's been told
She reads every word in the line between
amidst tragedy, no time to scream
life only in fiction will you find supreme
She consumes every thought, no room in your mind to dream
More is said in silence than word
more passion in pain, you reserve all violence for her
all the bright lights and the sirens are blurred
