So I apologize for not posting much-I have a post I want to write about my weekend in New Hampshire-but for now I’m just going to have to go with a short reactive little post.
About two weeks ago I dropped this boy that I’ve been screwing around with off and on for like a month a short note asking if he wanted to get together for a quick tryst. The proper etiquette, as previously determined by past interactions, is that he respond to the e-mail during the day and then do a follow up call before coming over. As he did not respond to the e-mail I thought nothing and went on with my evening. As I was getting ready to go out he calls and says he wants to come over. By this time it’s nearly ten on Friday and I’m just about ready to go out. I told him that I had clearly stated in the e-mail that this was a short interval between the time I got home from work and the time that I was going to go out and that he had missed the slot. He got all huffy at me, though I promised I’d definitely make time another evening, till I got fed up and said that this whole situation was getting a little annoying and wasn’t quite fitting into my schedule the way I had hoped. At this point he called me “frigid bitch” and hung up the phone. I was a little irritated because if I have shown anything through this exploit is certainly that I am NOT frigid.
So today I got a short e-mail from him that goes as follows:
hey, what's up cutie!
i have some time tonight. wanna get together?
WTF! I think I’m going to solidify my reputation as a frigid bitch and forget to respond!
