Girl Problems
I thought that would catch your attention. I have been thinking recently at how annoyed I am at myself that I fucked up one relationship by hitting on a really close friend.
Many months ago at 3 am I was sitting in her room and I just wanted to kiss her. So being the huge dumb idiot that I am I told her that. That single sentence has destroyed years of amazing friendship.
She told me she would think about it and a week later awkwardly told me we should just be friends. Ironically we were no longer the friends that we had been. We're still not.
We have had to start from scratch. Years of sharing and laughing and loving all down the drain because of one sentence. We are still friendly. Maybe even friends now, but not like we were. She remembers the old me and still laughs at my jokes but no longer will she share her thoughts with me, her hopes, whatever.
I think it was Meg from SLC who said, " Never have sex with someone you really like."
Meg if only it were that simple.
