SONNET 6
Another long and dreadful day has passed.
I wake to layers of fresh morning dew.
My tears seemed to stream to the ground and last
long enough to be evidence for you.
I wonder if you remember my face,
Where you are - a half a world away.
I'll never forget your name or your place
For you're a part of me in every way.
You belong to my heart, my mind, my soul.
Though you are a lifetime away, I do
Not feel apart from you. It takes its toll,
But to you I will never be untrue.
You are everything to me, you should know.
To the end of Earth and back I would go.
