Teen Injured in Accident Near Nansemond River High School
A teenager was transported via Nightingale to Sentara Norfolk General after she was injured Wednesday afternoon in a two vehicle accident near Nansemond River High School in Suffolk.
Officials say the accident happened around 5:17pm. It is believed a car exiting the school was struck by a truck traveling on Nansemond Parkway.
WAVY News 10 has learned the most seriously injured individual is a 15-year old female who was inside the car. 10 On Your Side is told she was conscious and alert, but Nightingale was summoned to the scene to transport her to Norfolk.
