plays galore!

so last night i went with Miss Katie to see our high school's production of Jekyll & Hyde. i must say that that was the best play ever done by a high school, in my opinion. i love the music and i must find it somewhere, you know since my computer has to be way too old for any downloading system and i'm dirt poor to buy a cd of any kind. *note to self: must get job* so afterwards i went with Miss Katie to her house to see the baby chinchillas and they were so adorable. they were all little and just oohhh! we stayed a little longer then intended because he younger brother was having a party so we stayed for ice cream cake (and the almost death from the half a can of axe that was sprayed in the bathroom). then we went to Stef's and hung out for 2 hours or so. i came home and wrote more and i almost didn't go to bed because i just wanted to keep writing but i knew i had to get up early this morning and only a few hours of sleep would not cut it for the action packed goodness i experienced today.

so this morning my aunt and i went to NYC. we ate at this little cafe called Penelope's. it was really good. i had french toast with nutella in the middle and fresh blueberries and strawberries. then we ended up in a vintage store that charged way too much for dresses and other clothes from the 40s-80s. then we headed to the theater to see Rent. it was different than the first time i saw it but of course it was. the guy who played Mark was much cuter and the guy who played Roger wasn't very Roger like kinda ish... i don't know i just didn't like him too much. Mimi was played by the same girl and Benny by the same guy. and Angel and Collins were a little weak; actually the second Collins was better than the first one (and i'm talking between acts not first time and now). then afterwards some of the cast stayed on stage and talked about an AIDS foundation and how if you donated a certain amount of money you got an autograph and picture with the guys who played Mark and Roger. so of course i was like hell yes! i was a grinning idiot and i couldn't respond when they asked me how i was. it was as bad as the time i met Branden formally from the Used. so yea then we hopped a train and came home. we met my mom at Chili's in Clark and ate dinner. then came home. ah i love going to the theater!
