Tomorrow we're supposed to go north for Billy's birthday celebration. I have no idea who will be there. I just know we're to be playing board games. It should be an all right time.
Day 12:
Weezer "Pinkerton"
Favorite Track(s): "The Good Life", "Across the Sea"
Weezer will forever be a great band. They really can't do any wrong in my eyes. This album is a little heavier and rougher than The Blue Album. I still think I prefer the Blue Album over Pinkerton but only slightly. I also never realized how old this album was. I thought it came out in the very early 2000s. It doesn't sound like 1996 at all. Weezer never sounded like anyone else at a time when grunge surged and faded out to pop punk and nu metal. Later on to emo and screamo. Sure, Weezer is pop punk as hell but forever fun.
I highly recommend seeing them in concert. I've seen them twice now (once on tour with blink-182 and Taking Back Sunday and just this past summer with Green Day, Fallout Boy was supposed to be there too but thankfully weren't. Too bad it was because of COVID though). They are a blast live.
