true story, and it freaks the shit out of me:
two nights ago i dreamed of august. and it was extremely raw and explicit. afterwards, lying in bed, a hideous insect crawled over my naked body and i woke up screaming. harsh way to begin the day. i was sick, so i called-in to work. sitting at my computer, i saw laura (a mutual friend of mine and august's) was also online, which she rarely is. "coincidentally" we both had the day off, and we met for coffee to discuss the breakup, since we hadn't had a chance to before. when i got home from the cafe, the door was unlocked, and august was downstairs packing up some more of her things.

seems like there's a message there...
she agreed to talk with me, since it was obvious i needed to. but she offered nothing. her message was 'get over it. it's done.'
it was a disturbing day.
