Today was the strangest day of weather ever. My mom said she'd drive me to school if it was raining, so it was conveniently NOT raining at 7:00 this morning. By this afternoon, it was flat out storming so hard we couldn't see out the windows practically. (Trang wouldn't let us do physics experiments with lightning.) Bethany and I were excited about jumping in puddles during track practice. However, comes time for track, and it's sunny! I think that's the best weather we've had for track all year! And we still got to jump in puddles!
So it continued to be sunny all afternoon, but I could look outside and see the wall of dark clouds to the south. I get in the car to drive to Bexley to babysit, get on 315, and suddenly it's pouring so hard that I can't see the car in front of me. (And the stupid guy didn't have his lights on anyway) So I get off the freeway so I can at least drive on slower streets, and it promptly stops raining. No more rain all the way there. Until I got there, upon which I had to distract small children from the frightening lightning. Babysitting was another story altogether. I won't go into it, but suffice it to say I had some unpleasant cleanup.
Practice AP English test this morning. Java tomorrow. And another one each day for the rest of the week. No sleeping in for Kim! Joy.
