Night at the Zoo
Last night I went with the AP Biology class to spend the night at the zoo! It was awesome! We got to walk around the zoo in the dark and see some of the exhibits. We also spent time designing and building our own exhibits (out of foamboard). My group created a space for African wild dogs, while the other group created the "Hippo Hotel." Haha, Mrs. Granger was quite excited about that project!
I finally got to sleep at about 4 am, because I stayed up and talked, so I was really tired this morning. When we got up, we walked around the zoo some more, and got to see the penguins!!
In the afternoon, I went and saw Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. Haha, good movie! Wallace and Gromit are great! Sadly, Maureen couldn't come, but that meant her day was most likely more productive than mine... I'll admit that I almost fell asleep several times, but that was only due to lack of sleep. So, I came home and took a nap. Then did my English homework, read part II of Heart of Darkness. And then I attempted to work on college essays. The essays continue to cast a shadow over my days.
