So, every once in a while, I hide things in the pages of books in my school library. I only do the books that obviously haven't been touched since 1988, like the poetry books, or lit books... art books, etc. So, I have them all containing a poem about the literacy levels at my school that I write on the spot, and then I, on the other side, admit to one of the books that I have stolen from this library. I have about seven or eight books from this library, and every time I do it I find more books that I really REALLY like, that noone has checked out in ages. This weeks victims were a book entitled "word origins, and their romantic backgrounds", and a book about foreign words and phrases. They are quite awesome. I might go over and nab this awesome book about France history in French, complete with black and white photos. I think I am fallling in like with all of these books... But, SHHH, don't tell anyone, I can be expelled... Meh, I will just deny, I am (lamely enough) calling myself the Phantom of the Library. I have one loop in the Art and Poetry section, and a rather large one in the biographies. Trust me, it makes classes worth while, knowing that someone just like me could be reading all of these hidden texts... And the idea that I might make someone smile when I am like thirty or something.
more later... maybe.
