Well, I got a job today. It's at a video store, like blockbuster, but bigger. My friend Craig and I both applied, and my friend Roy, one of the people I lived with up here, is the manager. We both thought we'd be sure in for the jobs, but Craig didn't make the cut... I felt so bad, because when we were done with the interviews, we went back home and started celebrating, and then Roy came home and said "Brandon, you got the job... Craig didn't." At first I thought he was kidding, but then it sunk in: I beat Craig for the job. Talk about irony. If it weren't for him, I probably wouldn't have even applied there. Life sure does throw some curve balls...
