this was a lovely sunday to cap off a great weekend. half days were...good. friday i stayed around here with will, hannah, alicia, matt, and various other kennebunk that were momentarily sprinkled into the mix. we ended up bringing matt and will to a show in portland and alicia and i went to flatbreads. its good to be rebonding with her.
saturday was a bull moose trip to sanford with alicia followed quickly by a cleaning frenzy. and then the night was a very odd one indeed. hannah...some stuff. some breakfast club. some sleep.
today after doing mostly productive things (like reading and seeing liz and cleaning some more) but...i realized i was bored for the first time in so long. and i know why. i realized that getting coffee and pretending to be intellectual and walking/sitting at the beach had become such a normal part of my daily life that it doesnt count as something to do anymore, only something that i do do...
so thats when hannah came over at about 330 (in the same state of quasi boredom) and we decided we had to take it to the next level and drink about six cups of coffee and drive about 90 down to brunswick (with a few choice rest stops along the way: a manhunt in biddo...some gas...two coffee stops...a bathroom break...an unsuccessful salvation army run...and a chicken-out stop at a pseudo-hippie store)
in brunswick we did some things that made me happy. matt. macgyver. peeps (giant ones, in microwave). some other people (luke). a ball like david bowies from the labyrinth. aquateen. coffee. just good stuff. it was a quick trip though. but, worth it. it filled the void that boredom created. (quite efficiently).
other news:
--this week the musical will rape me. its okay. i can take it.
--i dont have pictures because i havnt been a camera whore.
--i think i really am actually going to move to ireland next year.
--i realized theres a lot of people at our school who dont like me...for inexplicable reasons. like...alex hammond and john naughton. i dont know how much i should be caring (if i should at all) or how to go about changing it (if i should at all)
--mark hagen just told me i seemed like a livejournaly sort of person, because its the coffee thing to do" it made me laugh.
