i'm young 21 but so close i can taste it (catch that rap reference?)
So I've come back to livejournal after years of not posting so that I can share some corney thoughts with only a few select people to witness it.
Basically, I am the luckiest woman ever.
I received a text at 11:59 from an amazing human, reading Happy Birthday!
I woke up to my little brother's bright spring eyes over me and the words "I wish you would stay forever" to which I was able to reply, "I'm staying here all summer!"
My big brother came over not long after that to drop off a homemade card from his girlfriend, it's so pretty!
I also received a pretty touching voice mail from him the night before when he had left my gramm's house while I was still on a hilarious walk with Johnny (in which we wrestled, played tag and kicked pinecones the whole way).
I just thought that something somewhere should know that despite where the world is headed (in regards to climate change and peak oil) there is still loads of love to celebrate. That reminds me, I'll probably ask my friend Johnny Badass to finish stick and poke tattooing "love flows abundant" on my right forearm. Right now it just says "Love".
