a bad run
Yesterday was a weird friday.
A pretty bad morning class, followed by a mixed mid-day...and then a rather bad Dress Rehearsal. It started 15 minutes late, not everyone could be there, and the actual show, frankly, sucked.
BUT, despite trying to be cranky pissed off cory that the show sucked, i was still laughing at all the dumb stuff that happened, and the funny screw ups, knowing that my actors are capable of way way more than they produced last night.
We were supposed to do 2 runs last night, but rather than do two crappy runs in a row, i moved the 2nd run to this afternoon, hoping that the actors will use (have used) the time off to be amazing and fix the issues. Hoping that this is true, i look forward to a good afternoon Final Dress, and an amazing opening night
Now i just hope that people show up . . . . .
