The Leak Diaries Day 2
Yesterday i came to find my kitchen mat damp and mildew smelling...upon further inspection, i found that the floor around the mat is damp as well.
Good news: No water seaping through to the basement and none on the floor in my room (an adjoining wall) also, no dripping noises or any visible leak sight
Bad News: it's not coming from the sink area, as none of the pipes below the sink are wet.
landlord called, she's in key west, but put in some calls and someone will be here early next week.
Day 2:
Water now leaking out from around the tiles, looks like rustyish water...possibly more than yesterday. Also found water dripping through into the basement, hasn't been dripping too long, isn't heavy yet.
Landlord called again, someone will definitely be here Monday morning. Quote "Looks like you may get a new kitchen floor out of the deal if it's ruining it." and "I guess they'll have to rip up the kitchen to find it...let me know what state you find the house in when you get home Monday.
