Sad news
We've had some rather tragic news from some relatives on my mom's side.
Last Friday night, my cousin Peter's son Matt and his wife had their first baby (named Carter) and the baby has a hole in his heart and is missing a couple of important valves. He will have to have lots of surgeries.
Then last night after I got home from my watercolor class, I received news that my cousin Katie's daughter's 2 little boys were killed in a 4-wheeler accident on their farm in Wisconsin. I think the boys were only 6 and 9 years old. The daughter is pregnant with her 4th child and is in shock. What sad news! My heart goes out to her whole family. Please pray for Carrie & John (the parents of the 2 boys), their daughter Kaitlin and the rest of the family.
I was going to whine about some things going on in my life, but these things put it into perspective.
