And again love how you show Gene here. Couple of bits I especially liked:

he knew Tyler would go for the shag, no problem, who wouldn’t want the Gene Genie in their bed, but he hadn’t been sure about the rest of it
This is a intriguing contradiction showing him as confident and unsure at the same time.

Well, that was fine, he hadn’t had a chance to pick up too many bad habits; he could learn from an expert.
And that's the confident Gene we all know and love showing through again.

Yep, that's the Guv. I'm enjoying the confident, romantic Gene, but it's quite difficult to keep him in character.
