Okay, yes, I caved. After I read part one, I was going to wait until this was fully posted to finish but I have no willpower. As my New Years Resolutions can attest.

You are brilliant with the OC in your stories. I adore Joe much the same way I liked Joseph in the first story. I hope he makes a return appearance.

I am reserving judgement on Sam here. While I can understand that he is treading new territory, I still have an overwhelming desire to smack him upside his pretty head. Yes, Gene made a mistake but just like Sam, he is trying to adjust to a completely new situation that he hasn't experienced before.

And as I seem to be engrossed in stories by authors who are masters of the evil cliffhanger, I will just have to be patient and wait for the next chapter.

Yes! Sam's finally learning to touch Gene. I just hope it's not too late -- you evil cliffhanger writer! I still think those two dolts ought to have a proper fight and a drink or two, it would serve to clear Sam's brain from all that thinking he's making their life a misery with.

Can't wait for the next bit! Forget Gene on a hook, you've got your readers strung up well and proper!

Oh you're clever. Very clever indeed and I applaud! I love the back and forth with Sam and Gene, how they had the culprit tied up the whole time, and now Gene's gone? Ack! Now post the next chapter or the puppy gets it.
