“What did you find?” Sam asked after a bite of treacle, which he had to eat first, he swore, so that it wouldn’t get cold.
This is probably my favorite line in the fic so far, for three reasons:
1. Sam being capable of such childishness as wanting to eat his cake first.
2. Gene actually caring whether Sam eats his cake before or after he's had some proper food.
3. Gene letting Sam think he could have the cake first due to perfectly logical reasoning, when it's really just Gene humoring him because he cares and Sam is dying, and he can't deny him cake if he's dying. *has flashback to Eddie Izzard and "cake or death?"*

I love that Chris and Ray did something right for once, and that they cared enough to do this properly, even if they were told it probably was a hoax. Makes you realize that they might actually care about Sam.

You're still making me sad, and still make me want to feel even sadder, as long as I get a happy ending. (A happy ending does *not* include character death!)

Okay, that made me sporfle! I desperately need that on a t-shirt or an icon or something. I may have to include it in another fic, and give you credit of course. I don't know why. It just makes me laugh.

Oh my gosh. I may have just died. You may have just killed me. Before the fic's finished, too. I really, seriously, might have to buy that. To recover of course. Is there anyway you can make the pic 100x100 icon size or does that obscure the text too much?

No! Don't die! Please! I need you to write me wonderful LoM fics forever and ever! I didn't think you'd actually consider buying it when I made it, but if you do, I want a picture of you wearing it!
I can't make an icon like that without destroying the picture, as I'm doing this in MS Paint, but if you can rope anyone else in to do it, they're welcome to play with my picture as long as I'm credited for the art (that's a pretty loose therm these days).

I will beg the general public in the next Coffin For Sam post, which actually might be before 5pm GMT since I'm writing it right now (and have to start work at 5).

It's time like these I wish I had Photoshop and knew how to use it. And yes, I might really buy the shirt. Because it's things like that, that I'd rather spend my money on instead of crap like student loans. And food.

Ooh, more fic soon! Yay! But then, it is you, so I should expect it to be soon anyway.
I can only use Photoshop to make pictures have better colors and contrasts, nothing beyond that, so I'm useless as well.
Oh, and if you want something else, I might be open to do Powerpuff-commissions for you, just because you write me such wonderful fics, and keep the chapters coming so quickly. Any fandom I know is acceptable, even crossovers.
