Oh, poor Sam! What's he done now?! Good to know Chris is gonna be okay, if it really is as simple as what they're making it out to be...

Oh dear, things are not looking good for Sam and Gene's friendship...they're both too bloody stubborn is why. And how is Sam supposed to solve the case now and not get sent back home without the notes? That man needs more hugs, the amount of pain we all put him through...

OK, I'm confused - been reading too many other fics in between the bits of this one - why is so bad that Gene has taken Sam's notes?

Sam thought by finding his kidnappers it might help him get back in Gene's good graces, but now that Gene's taken all his notes on the case it'll stall Sam's work but also shows how Gene doesn't want him to work on the case and doesn't want him as part of his team anymore. Or at least that's what I intended to bring across.

And Sam thanks you for the icon. He could use a little help from his psycho alter-ego right about now.
