ooh, I like the bit about the carbon copy being smuged, which leads to the conclusion that they were forged. Brilliant! :D

Just wondering (I have been for a few parts now): why does no-one try to track down the person who let on about Sam to the papers? The moment Annie saw the newspaper they all had to rush to the hospital because it meant Sam was in real danger of being attacked again. So...person who told the press ought to get a good kicking? At the very least, an attack like that on a police officer has got to cause some panic in the city, and Gene can't have been happy about that. Or was it just inevitable that they find out, rather than anything sinister? IDK. Lord knows I'm trying to find clues everywhere now. More I comment, less sure I feel. :/

As for the rest of it...:O I'm too amazed for words. Your plotting skills, Gene mirroring Sam's frantic search from 2x08, the forged papers - gah! You are just so good at this, and I love you for it.
