Haha, I think it was the shower scene that got me actually, just the image of it made a shudder run right down the length of my spine. I think it was more of a 'no way, they did NOT...!" lol.

Great dialogue all the way through, actually I'm developing a bit of a thing for Evil!Chris as well lol. Hard to believe, but I'm seeing past those soulful eyes and that floppy hair now lol.

Agree with the comment about that line of Sam's "you fucked me then you FUCKED me!" - absolutely brilliant :D

Glad you enjoyed it and, don't hold me to this, but at least three plot bunnies have been spied in various corners all taking their daily feed from this fic-arc.

You might just see evil!Chris again.

You rule beyond words. :D I've already told you my favourite bits are Chris' dialogue in the cell right before Sam screams "You fucked me and then you FUCKED me!", and also the bit at the end where Chris is considering Ray's impending move up to DI.

I think it's a perfect way to end things. :)

*cough* I've been badly plot-bunnied by a sequel for the original AU... I'll email you across probably after the weekend as I've got a wedding to go to tomorrow. But, yeah. I reckon R&R could fit in between the end of Checkmate and the beginning of the sequel. As an interlude...

I hesitate to admit it, but I think I've developed a bit of a 'thing' for Evil/Chris!

Absolutely fantastic ending to a fantastic series. Much like the real thing, I'm going to miss the anticipation of the next chapter now it's over. Quite mind-bending, feeling sorry for Sam after all that he's done. Mind, I think he'll be OK as long as they let Chris in for his conjugals occasionally!
