For the newer LoM fans
And for the older ones with new computers that no longer have the old BBC LoM screensavers and would like them back again.
I recently acquired a nice new machine with Windows 10 on it but I really missed my old LoM clock screensaver. Found the old BBC LoM downloads page with the screensavers and wallpapers only to discover that the clock one for Windows was the only one NOT working (error 404). The Mac download file still works and both download formats still work for the other LoM screensaver, just not the Windows format clock one. Grrrr! I was not happy.
Solution: Copy the installation file from my old machine to the Downloads folder in the new machine and hope it would still work with Win 10. Can't believe my luck but it installed perfectly and actually worked!!! Unfortunately this may be the ONLY way to get it to work. If anyone is interested PM me and we'll work out how I can send you the file. Can't guarantee that this will work but in honour of the 10th anniversary of this brilliant series I'm willing to give it a try.
I may not be around here much but I'm still fond of the series and always will be. It inspired me to write like nothing else before or since. :)
