Question about mini reverse-bang 2016

I know there are a lot of sign ups occurring at the moment ('tis the season), so I'm just wondering how artists feel about when sign-ups for the mini reverse-bang should start? Sooner rather than later if we're suggesting a 25th January posting date? And that is just a suggestion. I am aware time is not on our side at the moment. Way I figure, the entirety of 2016 is the anniversary.
If you're not sure what I'm talking about, a reverse-bang is when artists create artworks first, including traditional/digital visual art, gifsets, photosets, photo manips, fanvids and fanmixes all beloved, and writers claim their pieces to write stories about. A mini version would have a smallish word count minimum (1500-2000 words?) and no maximum. Art, similarly, would be expected to be more of a sketch rather than a full-blown watercolour (4 pic gifset/8 song fanmix, 1.5 min fanvid kind of thing), but obviously, if you wanted, you could go wild.
