Sam panted, “Well as you’re here, d’you think you could do it a bit harder?"

Gene did it a bit harder.

"That good enough for you, Doris?"

"Yeah, that’s good".

Time passed. Gene pushed, Sam panted.

Eventually matters reached a conclusion and they lay back quietly.

"So - if you don’t normally do this, Gene; why did you?"

"Aliens, Sam. Aliens made me do it."

"So, nothing to do with the fourteen whiskies and my new trousers, then?"

"Nothing to do with that at all, Sam."

Hahaha, I love it. Gene sounds very convincing ;) I really like the phrase Eventually matters reached a conclusion because, I don't know, it's such a matter-of-fact way and yet classy way of saying "and then sex was done".

The matter-of-fact-ness is kind of odd, but I think it comes from Sam trying to think to himself, "Aliens. Yes, of course. Aliens." in a very matter-of-fact way, because he won't want to piss Gene off and risk there being no repeat performance. I'm glad you liked it - thanks for commenting!
