Thank you to everyone who has been contributing as we move through recommendations week 2011. ♥
You have no idea how useful and important these kinds of recommendations have been in the past. I'm sure many of you know that when you first enter a fandom that has a long history it can be daunting wading in at the deep end. While recs are not the be-all and end-all, they are a start. And this isn't just a useful resource for the newbies. I've been in the fandom almost six years and thanks to these rec fests I find myself catching up with amazing fanworks I somehow managed to miss.
If you can spare ten minutes, please rec a fic, vid, artwork or other offering you can think of. The more recs we get, the better this runs. If you can spare another minute after that, commenting on a fanwork you've visited because of these rec fests will almost always be appreciated.
