No really, I'm not dead yet. (Or mad, or in a coma.) And I come bearing a gift.
For those of you who use Firefox, and who use Personas: (clicky the piccy to take you to the Gallery)
If you don't use Personas with your Firefox and would like to, you need the
Persona add-on. If you can only see the top part of the Persona header, you need the
Multirow Bookmark Toolbar add-on, which allows you to have the Navigation, Bookmark, and four other rows up. You'll need five of those six to see a whole Persona. If you find a bucket-load of Personas you like and can't settle on just one (I have well over 100 in rotation including the 20 I've made so far) you can rotate through them at a regular rate by 1)
Creating an account at the Persona gallery and then making a list of Favorites and 2) installing the
Rotator add-on. PM me for more detailed instructions on any of this.
For those of you of an artistic bent (heh -- she said "bent") -- whether or not you use Firefox as your web browser -- there are a whacking great two LoM Personas so far, including this one. They're easy to create: The header bar needs to be 3000 pixels by 200 pixels, with the important bits on the far right side. The footer bar needs to be 3000 pixels by 100 pixels, with the important bits on the far left side. Both files need to be either .jpg or .png and less than 300 K each. Other info -- suggestions, ways to try out your art under the various operating systems, etc. -- is available
here.
