Glad to know I'm not the only one! Yeah, it was fine until I tried to do a cut, and then poof! There went the line breaks. I've manually fixed it now, but it's annoying as hell.

I was lucky - I found out about it when I was just typing out a long entry, rather than a fic jammed with dialogue etc. but yes, maddening! We shall see if they actually do anything...

Thanks for the link. LJ keeps mangling headers too. I've seen a lot of blocky entries on my f-list but hopefully they are working on it.

Seriously though, as depressing as it is the fic was fantastic. I loved Gene so hard in this and poor Sam, he never really gets a break from you girls. I guess it's his fault for suffering so prettily. :(

I've tried to write happy fic, but it's just not as much fun as, well, setting Sam on fire. Because, like you said, he does suffer so prettily.

This is really good, telling Sam's story through flashbacks. Very skilled writing. Although this was very angsty the connection between Sam & Gene and the few lighter moments between them were lovely. Great story.

Thank you! I didn't know I was going to use flashbacks until about halfway through. They sort of fit, so I kept them.
