The Undercover Series (this is her tag for the whole series)
Rating/Notes/Warnings: NC-17 for sex and violence
Why I recommend this fic series: Realistic view of what early-70s gay coppers would deal with trying to keep both their jobs and their sanity
The Looping Series (link is her tag for the whole series)
Rating/Notes/Warnings: NC-17 Sex, violence, torture, rape
Why I recommend this fic series: As AU as you can get, but still in-character. Twisted and tangled timelines, multiple copies of characters, and an evil!Sam that makes The Master look like a newborn kitten. KB doesn't get why folks like it.
The Uppercut Series (Link goes to last story; everything's hooked together there)
Rating/Notes/Warnings: NC-17 for sexinz, R-level violence
Why I recommend this fic series: KB is one of the few people whose het I can handle reading. It's NC-17 w/o being either clinical or purple. This is a three-way, and one where the emotions are worked out and settled before the sex kicks in. She makes Sam/Gene/Annie not only plausible, but RIGHT.
And now, because you're tired of hearing me sing KB's praises, is something completely different:
Life to Live by elfbert
Rating/Notes/Warnings: NC-17 for sex. Ray/Chris
Why I recommend this fic: Okay, I know there're a lot of folks that just plain don't like Ray, and won't ship him with anybody full-stop. But read this, and you'll see that Ray is a real person underneath all the macho crap he puts on as a public face, and why and how Chris can be more than just his annoying shadow. Y'all have seen me write R/C, and this is the R/C I try to write, but never quite make it to.
