Help! Confused mutant bunny!
Hi everyone,
I'm fairly new around here, and I have been reading and loving the fics. I'm trying to write one of my own, but unfortunately, I hit a big ugly snag in my story, and I really need some help. Is there anyone out there who would be willing to help me untangle the mess? Originally, I had a crazy idea for a slashy crossover between LoM US and LoM UK, kind of a parallel universe sort of thing (and I know LoM US isn't the most popular thing around here, but I was having fun with it). Then, Charlie from Lost with his Manchester accent decided to be in it, and refused to leave, so I had to put in a reason for him to be there. I wound up with a great big Lost crossover (set mainly in the LoM UK universe), and my little slash fic turned into a sci-fi novella. I was almost finished, and then decided to do some major rewriting, and now I am seriously stuck. I haven't heard back from my betas, so I'm afraid the whole thing might just be too awful to see the light of day.
The fic is about 20,000 words right now, but I'm thinking the whole thing will be around 30,000 when finished. I could use any help you're willing to give, whether it's help with the actual writing, or just brainstorming for ideas, or even just someone to tell me it sucks and I should quit while I'm ahead. You don't need to be familiar with Lost or LoM US to help. Is anyone out there willing to help me rescue my poor mutant bunny?
