Why I recommend this fic: Choosing one of nepthys_uk’s fics is almost impossible, but this one is a stonker. Guaranteed to fulfil all your kinky Sam-as-rent-boy needs. And Gene’s too. It’s utterly filthy and I love it to bits

Why I recommend this fic: More nepthys_uk, because she’s brilliant. This one shows a very different side to her wonderful writing, a beautifully paced slow-burning build of heart-breaking emotion. One of my all-time favourite Sam/Gene fics.

Rating/Notes/Warnings:Sam/Gene, Brown Cortina skidding into Red at times
Why I recommend this fic: Usually it’s Sam we see coming mentally and emotionally undone but here it’s Gene, twisted and tangled until his hold on reality is all but lost. A disturbing read at times, but one of the most stunning pieces of Sam/Gene fic there is out there. With a wonderful Nelson to boot.

One week (is all it takes) by taurenova
Rating/Notes/Warnings:Sam/Gene, NC-17 so I think we can assume Brown Cortina
Why I recommend this fic: I’m a sucker for Gene-gradually-realising-he-loves-Sam fics, and this one is a gorgeous example of that. Fantastic characterisation, Gene’s brain working overtime getting to grips with the situation he’s found himself in, his hand working overtime too...

Why I recommend this fic: Hardly slashy at all compared to my other recs. Wonderfully written post 2.08 angst, with Gene wanting something so very simple but Sam finding that to be the most difficult thing of all to give. Plus there are prawn cocktails.

I always have to check when people mention my icons, because I rarely check which one my LJ add-on decides to use, but I guessed straight away that this was DW-themed :D
