Notes: there have been a few prompts/requests in the past for fic where someone turns up to provide a rival to Gene for Sam’s affections, so that’s the basis of this. It’s been lingering on my hard-drive for a while but I think I’ve finally got it into a decent enough shape to post. Unashamedly fluffy and angst-free.
