I ADORE the reveal at the end. You get a whole box of gold stars for that one. Plus, it's dialogue fic and dialogue fic makes me tingle all over.

Happy Anniversary, Dak. It is certainly worth celebrating the day you decided to come here and join us. *hugs* & ♥

Thank you so much! I'm just glad you people are still letting me play with the boys, despite all the angst I've put them through this past year. :)

Ray has a dog???

This is great - brilliantly funny and snarky and ever so slightly creepy. I love the idea of Annie dressed up as TCG (way to fuck with Sam's head! XD) and I would pay good money to see Chris dressed as Sam reconstructing 1.01! And the reveal at the end was delightful.

Congrats on your anniversary - may you have many more! :D

Ray has a dog???
I like to think he does. He probably can't keep a girl for too long but, he'd do alright with a dog.

Thank you!

“Sounds great, Guv. There’s only one problem.”

“What’s that Tyler?”

“We’re still tied to these rafters,”
Hahahaha!
Brilliant way of turning it all around!

I love the way Gene is telling Sam all about how the non-celebration was going to be like, and Sam asking as well. It's sort of like they're living it together in their minds, which is all kinds of cute.
Also, I love the idea of Chris (and Ray) doing a reconstruction of Sam's arrival, seeing as they're mini-and-slightly-useless!Sam and mini-and-slightly-useless!Gene.

ETA: I'm very glad you started writing as well. If you hadn't, who'd be grating cheese and stairing uselessly at a couple of tomatoes at my house?

You did give me the initial idea - have the team do something nice for Sam. Of course, for poor Sammy it wouldn't quite work out the way they expected.

You know, I tell my family the "taco cooking" story all the time, and they know I'm not exaggerating when I said I stared at the tomatoes for five minutes, not knowing what to do. (When you come to America, we won't be cooking. We don't cook in my house. :) )

Thanks for being my evil twin!

Seriously? You never cook? How do you eat? Surely you don't eat take out every day?

I love being your evil twin! Thanks for being mine!

Ahaha, this is brilliant. I'm still laughing now! So many quotable lines, but I think perhaps this one stands out:

"The Gene Genie respects all men - queers, Paddies, Pakis, spastics, and nutters - alike"
Oh dear. Gene. :D

Anyway Happy Anniversary, and thanks for all the fic! :D

Hehe, a lovely fic with a final twist! I know you never disappoint. :)

Happy anniversary, Dak! I remember perfectly well the first day you posted SASG here. I'd had a really bad day at work and reading your story just made it all better. I was hooked from that moment on. Each time I read something written by you, I remember that feeling and immediately feel good, because I know I'll be having a great time with every word I read.

You rock, girl!

If I'd never started writing fic, I would have never met you and never ended up doing inappropriate things with a sheep and a Master action figure in a very public Starbuck's. I don't know whether to thank you or blame you. ;)

Little Sam the Sheep says I should say thanks, so thank you so, so much!!

Hehe, as soon as I saw Sam the Sheep in that little shop in my village, I though of you!

Hope he's still having fun (in more appropriate ways) with his friend The Master! :)
