Well, I finally read the whole thing up to here from the start. This is a really angsty realistic story. Great job. I loved little Gene and the sweet part when he fell asleep on Sam's chest. The whole development of Sam finding a family was great and in this installment, him admitting that he needed what was left of the family to survive, was a great direction. Nicely written angst!
