It was the wind that first woke Sam, howling and screaming through the land around him, and when he opened his eyes, he found that he was staring at dark, rich soil, thick and damp with the rain that was falling onto his naked back.  He slowly climbed to his feet, and found that he was once again in the woods, rain pattering down
