job searching BLOWS!!!!!!
I'm sick of it.
Thank god for www.badbusinessbureau.com I almost shelled out $199 for some scam company that did investment banking, or something. I get the worst luck when it comes to employers!
I had an interview a couple of weeks ago for a customer service job, and got denied. I'm still not sure why. It's actually kinda shady. I was definitely qualified for the position. Oh well. I was dreading having to do it anyways.
I ahve an interview Tuesday @ SafeCo. The position sounds interesting and challenging, though nothing related to my degree. Everyone send good vibes my way Tuesday morning! If I get the job, y'all can party w/me!
Big news:
Carter and I FINALLY decided on an apartment. It's sweet. It's on the southside of Indy (Keeneland Crest). It has:
2 bedrooms
fireplace
screened in balcony (for our boys)
lake view
fitness center
central air/dishwasher/washer AND dryer!!! (all things this place lacks)
We're moving in the end of July, sooner, maybe, if I get a job.
If anyone knows of any place in INdy that may be hiring, let a brotha know!
Carter and I have been seeing tons of movies lately. Today we saw Stepford Wives. Totally different from what I remember the original being. Still good- but not as thought provoking. And, of course, we saw farehnheit 9/11. and so should you.
OH, and I won tix to see dave matthews last week. won them at like 4:30, and the show started at 7, and it's at least a 2 hour drive. the show was OK. nothing like it used to be back in teh day. my mom and i had a tradition of going every year during high school. his shows just aren't the same :(
