Separation of Church and state?
Explain to me how this would be posible seeing as how religion has a direct corralation to a persons belief system.
We put a person in power inorder for that person to make decisions based on the beliefs that he/she hold in congruence with those that elected him/her into office. Whether that person is atheist, agnostic, christian, or muslim matters not. Every persons' belief structure is based on something that can be defined as religion, therefore unless you remove the human element from government you will never be able to remove religion (in one form or another) from government.
