As I was standing in the lobby of my office building, I was half-listening to the pianist that was playing for a crowd of about 2-3 (I know, some crowd). The song started off very pretty...and I was beginning to like it until I figured out which song it was...

I don't know if it's abnormal but it could lead to a never-ending sting of thank yous and thank you cards.

Yeah...that's kinda how it felt...but I ended the vicious cycle by saying, "you're welcome."

It's only normal if you're a pushover or looking for a return gift. Avoid this person at all costs for the rest of the month. Whether they're needy or greedy you want nothing to do with him or her.

It sounded more like Dear Abby or Miss Manners advice. That's it! That's what you should be - an advice columnist!...but throw in the classic Beamer humor and it would be a hit. At least you'd get people to laugh at themselves...or at you. :)

What's funny is that it wasn't only one person who said thank you- two people did it.

What more could I say but, "oh...uh, you're welcome."
