"Where are you now?"
I never thought that I would be ready for college to end, but I am; I am officially ready to leave Hamilton. I've loved my time here, and I'm going to miss my friends terribly after graduation, but I have outgrown this campus and it's time to move on.
Summer is going to be amazing, and it's probably the thing that I'm focusing on the most to get me through the next week and a half. Once Class and Charter Day (May 5th -- last day of classes and a huge all-day party) hits, I'm golden. I'll have two exams during finals week, but I'm not at all concerned about them. And then we have senior week, which is a crazy, week-long party sponsored by the school (yay Liberal Arts College!). And then graduation, and then we're gone. And then summer :)
I'm already making great plans for June, July and August. It's probably going to be the last time for awhile where I can take time to go visit family across the country, go spend some qt in NYC with all my friends from Hamilton who will be living there, and taking the time to take care of myself. I think I'm going to call the summer something super cheesy like "The Summer of Lindsey" and really make an effort to focus on me. I feel so self-absorbed saying that, but I'm realized recently that I haven't been looking out for number 1, and I need to do that. And I'm going to do that, damnit.
