A Series Of Words From A Life Capricious

Concern

To whom it may or may not concern

and to all of those who dream in tern

welcome all ye of little will

to lost embrace of lovers still

to forgotten reminisce of love unseen

and troubled waters on steady stream

dripping hot like burning ice

for looking once you are cursed twice

like ravens claw or flaccid jaw

teeth bore in starving rage

we fail to fall from pedestals

and live forever on the stage

The Way Lovers Do

Lost in your emerald stare

eyes draped in mystery by crimson hair

words pouring from supple lips

intentions traced by fingertips

round river bends and ocean tides

as the serpent sings songs of robin tears

frozen in her warm embrace

the fires of passion rise

senses burn like a forest blaze

and then grow numb as time fades

space a void now filled with life

as stars dance the way lovers do

The Sirens Call

Lovingly,

Trustingly,

Pulling you in.

My every thought,

Every word,

Taking you in.

Into these arms opened wide

through burning fire and high tide

across endless hopes and forgotten dreams

with an inferno of passion and tear born streams

When beckoned forth you cannot resist

the fury and power of this taunting glance

in moments between you long for escape

but the damage is done...

and I have it all on tape.

Reminisce Of a Dream

Through cumulus and stratus

with the eagles joy redefined

we see are arms stretched open

as well as our mind

we ride the flowing jet stream

as we marvel at the moon

but who are we to feel so free

we the children of the earth

we mere mortals born without our wings to fly

we who are doomed to gravities cold grip

should we succumb to are fate

or wish for that first flight

with hand in hand we spread our wings

that is what I dreamed last night
