I'm done gluing tile to the floor of our bathroom. During the last stretch, I worked for the last three hours nonstop, finishing exactly at midnight. The gluing step has taken about a week by itself, and has made me delay almost everything else I had planned to do during that time. I apologize for those delays, particularly to the people of the Cthulhu LARP. There were a few projects of my own school that I have delayed as well, and I hope that I can continue some of them now. This has been a very long piece of work and basically all of my energy and time have revolved around it for over a week now.
Hopefully that will no longer be the case. The remaining steps are simpler, to whit: make pretty (by slow handwork) the grout work I did around the tub, grout the floor, seal the floor and tub, remove trash and miscellaneous items from the area, assemble and install the new hardware, and clean everything. These will necessarily be done over several days, as glue, grout, and sealing each require an overnight drying before they are effective. I am hoping that I do not have to do the remaining grouting myself. I am not good at it and it frustrates me. In any case, the remaining steps must be done over several days, so I will have time available from now on.
