Let me tell you about my food

I've been cooking for hours!

First I made a very awesome dinner:
Chicken wrapped in bacon with a pumpkin seed and walnut sauce. It was crazy yummy. I made two servings so I have dinner for tomorrow.

Then I cooked a whole spaghetti squash, which i had to cook in like 8ths so it took FOREVER.

I had 1 8th with dinner tonight, another 8th is going in a mash with tomatoes and chilis tomorrow, 4 8ths are in the fridge for various other projects this week, and...

the last 2 8ths went into a vegetarian stew I made tonight containing:
veggie broth
squash
peas
rosemary
onion powder
pepper
pumpkin seeds
Israeli couscous

I hurt all over from cooking...go me. But I got an AWESOME skillet for my birthday, stainless steel with a copper bottom, and it can take up to 500F in the oven so I can now seer meat and then bake it in the same pan which is waaaay better. My chicken was crazy juicy tonight. Hurrah. However it's REALLY hard to clean. I had to wash it 3 times. Bah.

Now that I'm done with my Gordon Ramsay night and all my portions for this week's meals are in the fridge in their neat little (fake) Tupperware containers...I need to peel the contacts out of my eyes and lay on the couch. I'll have to get back up to clean the kitchen bc it's a terrible mess, but my back was hurting so much I thought it could wait an hour or so.
