Chore Wars! For you dirty girls and boys....
I've discovered a great website to aid in cleaning. It is called "Chore Wars." www.chorewars.com Basically, it makes household cleaning work like an RPG videogame. You select a character and write quests. By completing adventures (aka chores) you level up, earn gold, and may need to fight for a special piece of treasure.
Here are examples of some of the chore/adventures I've written for a my kingdom. I am Dungeon Master of for a Vegan Freaks team I organized through the message board there.
Banishing the Swamp Ogres

high strength
* between 17 and 33 gold pieces
* 20% chance of treasure (Discarded Brass Ring )
* 42% chance of a wandering monster (Swamp Ogre, Waste Demon, King of the Swamp Ogres)
A clan of renegade swamp ogres are planning an attack on Vegana! They've hidden trash around the kingdom to disguise their smell so they may surprise the guards. Remove the trash to foil the attack.
Hall of Mirrors
20 XP
The Curse of the Hall of Mirrors
high dexterity
* between 20 and 29 gold pieces
* 50% chance of a wandering monster (soul of a prisoner,Vanity--the evil spectre )
An evil spectre has been capture souls of the citizens of Vegana. He enslaves them by imprisoning their reflections. Wipe all reflective surfaces clean to free them!
