Good Weekend, Shitty Week
So this weekend I spent Friday cleaning up for my mom to come with Sarah Jane for the Cure Autism Now walk. Sat we woke up bright and early, and faced the brisk, cool fall morning. Sarah Jane, as well as all the other kids with Autism, did very well on the walk.
Afterwards, the three of us searched for a vegan restaurant I found on the net. It shut down or maybe we just couldn't find it. Either way, we went to Lauriol Plaza and I had a KILLER vegan fajita dish. Well it was listed as vegetarian, but it happened to be vegan, which was lucky for me. It was sooo good.
Then at night, I flyered club 5 for the upcoming Buzzlife Halloween parties. It made me a little nostalgic
stuffing lineups under windshield wiper blades, as this is how I spent the last 4 years of Saturday nights
before Nation closed. Still, I am glad not to do it every week in the cold, but I miss the craziness.
Sunday I had a very low key, nice Sunday. Mon night I went to bed at 5:30 P.M. and slept all the way until my morning alarm went off. I ended up leaving work early due to being sick. I thought I was being hardcore for trying to go in, however, my boss, gave me a lecture on showing up for the rest of the week. I really got the feeling she thought I was faking. I barely made it home I was so tired, despite sleeping for 13 hours. So far, basically, I've slept all evening. I just made a little bit of dinner..watching law and order. I really hope I feel better since my boss is all over my ass about calling out.
